Most young women who are exploring new interests and discovering different parts of the world fall in love with Social Media. Social Media is convenient, and full of information. If they want to start a business, or network, it is one place they can flourish. Women can show highlights and snippets of their life and everything around it – good or bad. However, the Lady Vols Players face a different type of reality. It is my duty to bring awareness to the benefits, difficulties, and challenges that Lady Vols deal with every day as far as being on social media. You will get to enjoy my next few blogs where I dive deeper into a few examples.

Throughout my research, I was able to interview 2 current and 1 former Lady Vol . The blogs will feature Keyen Green, Tess Darby and Destiny Salary as they share their personal social media pages and efforts to maintain their Lady Vol image. These stories are exciting because each of these 3 women are very different ranging from their age, backgrounds, interest and basketball positions.

I will also talk with Lady Vols Head Coach, Kellie Harper, about representation on social media.

Stay tuned for a fresh prescriptive from an inside angle of the Lady Vols and Social Media!
